There is no “best” ad platform in absolute terms. There is the platform that fits your customer, your product and your goal. Here is a simple framework drawn from our work with businesses and individuals in Morocco.

Two families: existing demand and demand to create

Search engines (Google Ads, Bing Ads) capture demand that already exists: the person is actively looking for a solution. Social networks (Facebook & Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn) create demand: you interrupt the feed with an offer that sparks interest.

Facebook & Instagram Ads: the all-rounder

Often the best starting point in Morocco: a huge audience, precise local targeting, varied formats and click-to-WhatsApp campaigns. Ideal for shops, restaurants, beauty, real estate, education and e-commerce. See our click-to-WhatsApp guide.

If customers type your service into Google, it is the priority. Plumbers, clinics, lawyers, car rental, training: search brings warm leads. Read our local Google Ads guide.

TikTok Ads: video and young audiences

Excellent for visual products and younger customers. Success depends almost entirely on video quality: see UGC and short videos.

LinkedIn Ads: B2B

More expensive, but unbeatable for targeting decision-makers by job, company and industry. Relevant for manufacturing, business services, professional training and recruitment.

Bing Ads: the quiet complement

Less volume than Google, but less competition and a professional desktop audience. Useful alongside an already profitable Google campaign.

Snapchat Ads: young, full-screen audience

A complement to TikTok and Instagram for fashion, beauty, events and food.

Our recommendation

  1. Start with one or two platforms, not six.
  2. Pick the one where your customer is closest to buying.
  3. Set up conversion tracking before launch.
  4. Add a platform only once the first is profitable.
